Produce Excellent IT Engineers.
This is Corporate Theme of Media Five
The advent of computers has made our society much more convenient than before.
We can access into worldwide information through a PC in front of us.
However, comparing to TVs, videos and audio equipment enjoyed every day by almost all the people in the world, computers are not so convenient as a daily tool for everyone yet, we think.
Future-type computers need to be much more users-oriented, not only useful.
They should be much more enjoyable & convenient and can help their users improve the quality of life and create new values. We would like to create such-functioned computers.
For this purpose, we want to increase the number of compeers who share the same dream with us. To make our dream come true, we need ‘technical skills,’ with which we can turn our dream into shape, and need resourcefulness, with which we can connect talented persons together. Then, we would like to foster excellent IT engineers who can train their technical skills and resourcefulness by themselves. By thinking so, our ‘desire’ has turned into ‘a feasible hope’.
It is to Transfer High-Level Information Technology, as Japanese Culture, Widely to the Rest of the World by Producing Excellent IT Engineers here in and from Fukuoka/ Kyushu, and also by Offering to our Customers Highest-Level IT Services together with our IT Engineers. This is our Media Five’s great dream to achieve.
To Turn Kyushu (Fukuoka) into Software Island
We would like to turn Fukuoka/Kyushu into Software Island, just like India, a remarkable country developing into an IT-oriented nation thanks to so many Indian IT engineers who came back to their home country after learning in the States.
Historically and geographically Fukuoka is closer to South Korea, China, Vietnam and other southeast countries, so IT-oriented companies in Fukuoka are able to collaborate with their energetic counterparts in those countries.
Fukuoka is famous for this fact that Japanese major IT companies have their business offices in Fukuoka and they are looking for excellent IT engineers here in order to perform big projects. At the same time, many universities and technical colleges are located in Fukuoka and so a great number of young people come to stay from all over Kyushu Island and learn here in Fukuoka. However, it is clear that there is a great gap between the IT companies’ needs and the skills of such young people and that local young human resources in Kyushu are not well utilized, if I may say so.
Media Five is pleased to provide IT-engineering educational opportunities to local young people in Kyushu with a good motivation and high potentiality, aiming to foster IT engineering professionals with high technical skills and resourcefulness.
To create Japanese version of Bangalore here in Fukuoka/ Kyushu and to contribute to the firm development of Kyushu and Japan. This is our Media Five’s Desire..
